In the bustling lanes of Kinari Bazaar, Delhi 6, grew Alka Jain - a young woman who loved food and experimenting with it.
Being from purani dilli, she knew the in-out of north Indian delicacies. She loves preparing homemade, handpicking ingredients, roasting and grinding them with precision, ensuring her kitchen stays free from preservatives and chemicals. It was her intention to keep her family healthy and away from chemicals.
Her daughter, Vidushi, grew up admiring not just the food on her plate, but the care and craftsmanship behind it. She saw how her mother's quiet talent brought joy to everyone who tasted her food. She saw the potential in love, patience, and the legacy of her mother in preparing Satvik, preservative free masaley at home.
That’s when Okhli Masaley was born in 2021 and a word was spread amongst friends & family.
Not as a business, but as a heartfelt attempt to share the real secrets of Indian recipes in the form of blended spices
And then in 2024, Okhli Masaley got registered officially.
